What is the Average Salary of a Business Analyst

Hi Friends, being an aspiring business analyst you must be curious about the salary packages of business analysis in India. The salary packages depend on a few factors. Here we are going to discuss the factors on which the salary packages have been designed.

  • The domain of the business
  • Educational Qualification

  • Prior Experience with the same domain

Usually reputed organizations like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte pay a good scale between 3,50,000 – 5,50,000 per annum for the entry-level. Remember at entry-level your educational qualification matters a lot. If you are with an IT background and passed out from a reputed institution with a relevant degree then surely you will get the above-mentioned package at entry-level.

If you are an experienced person with 1- 2 years of prior experience in IT then the package scale will be from 5,50,000-7,00,000 per annum. Again the candidate who has passed out from reputed b-schools drags more salary than their counterparts.

Salary packages in India for E-commerce domain like Amazon is quite attractive for business analysts. At senior business analysts, you can expect a good package like 12,00,000 to 17,00,000 rs/ per annum. Also the locations like Banglore, Pune get good salary hikes.
