Does Business Analyst Require Coding?

Many people with non-technichnical get confused while taking up the course for business analysts that whether they have to do the coding. But the fact is business analysts are more involved in the management, understanding the business processes. etc. They really not have to do deal with the coding part as its a programmer’s job.

At the same time, I would say it is always better to have the idea of database knowledge.

This helps a business analyst to prepare reports of data and also help in understanding the data analysis. Having knowledge of the database adds value to your job. And also helps you to use the kind of technical jargon while documentation.

Coding and other technical stuff really don’t require to become a business analyst. As the business analyst role is challenging, it is more require analytical skills, problem-solving skills,

Strong communication and domain knowledge. There are few tools that are used to maintain the documentation, to build a use case diagram and much other stuff. It is a must to get proficiency in these tools as well.
